Tito and His Carrot

Tito was tucked into bed, but something was missing. His favorite carrot cuddle toy was nowhere to be found. He looked under the blanket, behind the pillow and beside his little bed.

Mama Rabbit came to help. Together they checked the burrow, peeking behind the basket and beside the slippers. Then Tito spotted a little orange tip peeking out from under his blanket. “There you are!”

The Sounds of the Night

Outside, the night was full of gentle sounds: leaves rustling, a cricket chirping and the soft wind brushing the grass. Mama Rabbit named each sound in a whisper until Tito's eyes began to close.

A Kiss on the Forehead

Mama Rabbit kissed Tito on the forehead and tucked the blanket around him. Tito hugged his carrot close, sighed happily and drifted off to sleep, safe and snug in his burrow.
