Why read a short story every day
A short story fits into any routine: before bed, after bath time or in a waiting room. Reading aloud every day builds vocabulary, helps children put names to their feelings and turns a few minutes into a moment you share.
How to choose the right story
Start with age. Babies need short sentences and repetition; at 3 and 4, animal stories and nighttime fears work well; from 5 on, stories about family, self-esteem or growing up. Then choose for the moment: a calm bedtime story, or one that opens a conversation about feelings.
Some are the stories from our personalized books, complete and scene by scene: here you can read them for free and, if you like, turn them into a book with your little one’s face and name. In every story you can type their name so they become the hero while you read together.
